Executive Manager, Property
CLOSER BRAVER FASTER The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Manager, Property to join our team at IAG and work in our new offices in Sydney CBD. The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to develop and deliver our property plan which enhances the experiences of our customers, people and guests in our workplaces and effectively and efficiently manages a national footprint. The role will lead a team who deliver workplaces that meet our business needs and sustainability commitments and aspirations.
This will be achieved within our risk appetite statement, regulatory requirements and other limits defined by the IAG Group. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the national property & workplace plan which is aligned to the IAG Strategy and meets our business needs and sustainability commitments and aspirations Lead all major property projects and support IAG workplace initiatives which leverage global best practices and innovation Lead the property team (including facilities management, conference centre management and concierge, workspace management and lease management) and work with partners and the business to ensure property delivers safe working environments for our customers, people and guests Establish and maintain mutually supportive, consistent and transparent relationships with all key stakeholders and partners (internal and external) Leverage initiatives being implemented across IAG to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of workspace planning and utilization Ensure timely and accurate reporting against key performance indicators (lead and lag) and conduct regular stakeholder surveys to improve workplace experience and drive continuous improvement Lead work to eliminate inefficiencies, increase standardisation, automation and effectiveness of property processes so they are simple and easy for users and stakeholders Set the overall Property team OPEX and CAPEX budget and ensure each area operates within approved budgets. Support governance by ensuring adherence to Group policies and that we manage risks within IAGâ€™s Risk appetite.
Ensure we comply with property legislation, regulations and codes. Lead a team of motivated, innovative, professional and customer orientated staff by adopting Leading IAG principles and the IAG Spirit Ensure a workplace of safety and wellbeing for our people Skills & Experience Extensive (7 years) property management experience, including effective partner governance and relationship-management Excellent negotiation and commercial acumen skills, and extensive lease (including sub-leasing) and contract management experience Strong property operations management skills, including solid strategic thinking skills with an ability to identify problems; synthesise many pieces of information; coordinate creation of options/solutions, solve problems and achieve short term results and long-term outcomes Strong experience operating and delivering results in a matrix environme....
