Chief Medical Registrar
About the role The Chief Medical Registrar will oversee rostering for the department's 39 registrars, while providing support to the Director and Deputy Director of Medicine. It is expected that the Chief Medical Registrar will find a home on some of the myriad committees operating within Ipswich General Hospital and take an active role in initiating and promoting quality and safety activities in the department. Crucially, the Chief Medical Registrar will run the daily morning handover meeting and ensure staff are allocated appropriately.
