The Role An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist (Graduate) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to over 550,000 people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will take responsibility for Delivering clinical services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, including; receiving and identifying referrals, conducting relevant consultations with patients, assessing patient treatment and service requirements and planning and implementing patient treatments in accordance with evidence based practice Completing discharge planning Reporting, documenting and providing feedback accordingly Performing weekend, on call and after hours work in accordance with departmental requirements Requirements for the role The possession of a tertiary degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) is a requirement for this role Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the relevant professional board. Certified copies of relevant qualification and registration must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties It is a condition of employment in this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough) and hepatitis B as required by HR Policy B1 The incumbent of this position is required to be available to take part in a roster across 7 days, including on call, after hours, evenings and public holidays This position may be required to work across Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Benefits Career Development Flexible work policies Leave loading Mentoring Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture Salary information Temporary full time (12 months) Base salary ranging from $72 189 Up to 12.
