APRA is seeking an experienced Change Manager to work on a number of Strategic Initiatives across the organisation. The position is a Fixed term position for 12 months. The position reports to APRA’s Change Manager as part of the Change Management Office (CMO) and will work with Business areas and project managers in the planning and coordinating of change activities to ensure they are smoothly integrated with project activities.

In this role you will: Support the development and delivery of the plan for change management and execute activities within the plan Assist in preparing the impacted business areas to enable their transition to new ways of working Understand the change impacts, engage and involve stakeholders at all levels (as and when appropriate) to support the desired change outcomes and success criteria of our strategic initiatives. Champion APRA’s Project and Change Management methodology and framework and flexibly apply to support positive transformation and ensure understanding and adoption of new ways of working. Actively support the changes when they are happening and afterwards (transition period) to provide guidance and reinforce the change.

Contribute to assessing the effectiveness of the change and confirmation that benefits are being realised. Coach People Leaders to enable them to better assist their own direct reports through major change initiatives. Deliver defined APRA change artefacts to promote consistency in approach and delivery including: Change Strategy and Approach Stakeholder Impact Analysis Change Impact Assessment Business Readiness Plan The Change Manager will utilise APRA’s standard change management framework to build and promote awareness and reinforce stakeholder change preparation, proficiency and adaption to new ways of working.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in organisational change management (define/plan/enable/reinforce) as well as knowledge of the tools, techniques and methodologies used for change management with the ability to flexibly apply as and when required to ensure the desired business outcome. You will have the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior leaders and executives and experience in handling complex situations/ variety of stakeholders and uncertainty. You will have exceptional stakeholder management, engagement and relationship skills coupled with strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the business.

Experience in facilitation and the ability to lead large forums with complex stakeholder groups is highly regarded. You will have a certification in change management methodologies and experience in waterfall and AGILE technology projects is highly desired..
