Job profile summary: Responsible for supporting lease administration activities using sound technical capabilities to manage the day-to-day lease portfolio including communicating and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing all elements of leasing, and managing the database for tracking of compliance and renewal requirements including preparing budgets and developing analytical reports. About the opportunity This role is responsible for the overall management of the NSW/ACT property portfolio through negotiating property transactions; providing advice to multiple internal clients; notification of rent escalations, lease renewals and other critical date reporting. Engage and manage external professional services such as valuers, lawyers, real estate agents, surveyors and forensic accountants.

In depth understanding and providing advice on complex legal agreements, obligations, responsibilities and the consequences with regard to the property portfolio and understanding BP's Policy and statutory/ environmental legislation and obligations pertaining to the use and sale of property. The management of lease obligations. Negotiations including correspondence with lessors and tenants, conducing rent reviews, lease renewals and new leases.

Referral of matters to internal and external experts (lawyers, valuers) where necessary and being informed to manage them Liaising with and providing advice to multiple BP clients regarding contractual reviews, obligations and property strategies to enable appropriate property decisions to be made. Preparing and seeking management approval and other compliance documents. Provide advice as Property Subject Matter Expertise during acquisitions and divestments.
