Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team works with clients to manage their capital agenda to drive competitive advantage and increased returns.

As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimising, raising or investing capital. Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within TAS include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Project Finance, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Support, Transaction Tax, and Valuation, Economics and Modelling. The opportunity We are looking for a number of Consultants or Senior Consultants to join our Transaction Advisory Services team, working within either our Mergers and Acquisition Services, Transaction Support or Valuation, Economics and Modelling teams, based in our Adelaide office.

This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis. Your key responsibilities Depending upon your desired area of focus, your key responsibilities may include: Contribute to strong client relationships through interactions with our clients Prepare industry research / market mapping to assist in identifying potential acquisition targets for both private equity investors and corporate strategic buyers Be involved in all stages of the transaction process, including deal preparation, analysing financial information, preparing marketing materials, bidder research, conducting pricing and valuation analyses, due diligence preparation and coordination, to completion Develop and review bespoke models and analytic solutions supporting transactions, forecasts, financing and investment evaluation Preparation of valuations of equity, businesses and intangible assets Contribute to new lead generation including businesses that should be targeted by the firm as potential clients Contribute to engagement planning and ensure that deliverables meet the project timetable Skills and attributes for success Strong written and verbal communication skills A curiosity to learn and contribute to a highly motivated team Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously An excellent working knowledge of Excel to develop financial models Ability to use research databases effectively and present ideas clearly Awareness of current business and economic developments relevant to our clients Ideally, you’ll also have A relevant degree qualification and approximately 1-5 years of related work experience within a large organisation A willingness and ability to travel as necessar y What working at EY offers Our Total Rewards package includes: formal or informal flexible working options e.g.
