The Role The Optometry department are an engaged, motivated and energic team with a passion for improving eye health across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join the team as an Optometry Data Consultant. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the collation, analysis and presentation of patient outcome data.

Your analyses will be used to measure and understand the impact of initiatives undertaken, direct clinical and commercial projects, and to communicate to external and internal stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand. As the Optometry Data Consultant, you will also be responsible for the following: Developing efficient processes to facilitate a sustainable approach to large-scale data analysis of patient outcomes; Analysing national clinical datasets to enhance clinical and commercial outcomes and for incorporation into finance reporting and publications; Working cross-functionally across the business to provide insights into operational performance nationally, regionally and at store and optometrist level; Identifying trends in clinical and commercial performance and reporting to the Optometry Department on areas that require intervention, training and/or risk mitigation About You Reporting to the Professional Services Manager, you will possess the following skills and experience: Hold relevant tertiary qualifications Advanced excel skills Capable of analysing data accurately and efficiently Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with key stakeholders Here at Specsavers, we support flexible working wherever possible to assist our people in achieving a balance between their work and personal life.
