The Corporate Activity Team provides administrative support to clients in relation to their corporate activity in the broad categories of capital raising, merger and acquisitions, dividends, distributions, Tax requirements and capital management. Many of our clients will raise funds via the equity market, disburse dividend proceeds, engage in takeovers or use surplus funds to buy-back shares. This activity is often critical to our client’s corporate calendar and strategic direction.

The role: We have an opportunity for someone to join the Corporate Activity team as a Project Co-ordinator supporting Corporate Actions. If you have finished your studies in finance, this is a great entry role into the Financial Services sector and working for an ASX top 50 Global organisation. It is also a great opportunity for those that are looking at changing industries as inhouse training will be provided.

The successful applicant will need to have a strong customer focus, excellent problem-solving abilities, be solutions focused and the ability to work to very tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to): Liaison with clients and key stakeholders to plan and deliver project requirements within agreed deadlines Manage the dispatch of documentation to shareholders and or clients Liaising with Banks and Financial Institutions Client reporting Compliance with internal procedures and policies as well as corporate legislation Using internal systems to manage key milestones and update internal stakeholders The ideal candidate will have: Understanding of different Corporate Action event types Proven ability to work as part of a team and think outside the box to achieve the best outcomes for the business and client Administration experience Registry, Finance or Corporate Services experience desirable Willingness to learn quickly and be adaptable to a changing environment Strong Organisational and Time management skills Benefits and Culture: The opportunity to work for a large global corporation (over 12,000 employees) Great discounts and benefits from various companies and access to our Employee Share Plan A wide variety of internal training courses A supportive working environment Onsite gym Onsite cafeteria For further information about this role or to apply, please click on the 'Apply' button below and follow the application process.
