Description

Client-Side Project Manager in the Geelong location. Immediate start for a contract duration of 12 months. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced client-side Project Manager to lead a current project, working with a team of contracted service providers in the Geelong area.

As the successful candidate you will work closely with a senior Technical Advisor experienced in the operation and management of this highly technical facility. You will work collaboratively across the business units with a range of industry partners to ensure the project is delivered in support of our clients long term vision. As the Project Manager you will be directly accountable for ensuring the project adheres to time, cost and quality requirements and for providing high quality, strategic advice; often in connection with technically challenging issues.

As the Project Manager you will: Lead the planning and delivery of the project Deliver the project in accordance with the project governance framework. Deliver the project in accordance with the Commonwealth legislative framework including financial management, procurement and safety. Manage stakeholder communication and consultation to support the successful delivery of the project.

Contribute to change management that supports the successful delivery of the project. Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading a major capital works project. Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of the role of a client-side project manager in the delivery of a major capital works project.

Demonstrated success in genuine engagement with stakeholders and managing communication and consultation to support the successful delivery of a major capital works project. Demonstrate ability to contribute to change management that supports the successful delivery of the project. Demonstrated knowledge of the Commonwealth legislative framework for project delivery including financial management, procurement and safety.
