The Organisation; The organisation is a long standing not for profit which sits in a prime location on the North Shore. A council of board members is responsible for helping lead the organisation by making key decisions in collaboration with the Director.
The Role; The role is for an experienced Company Secretary who is familiar with the dynamics of reporting to a board or panel of decision makers. The role is generally Monday through to Friday with the hours varying depending on the schedule. For this reason a good level of autonomy will be given to the successful incumbent so they can manage their time day to day.
Responsibilities for the role include; Attend Council Board meetings Preparation of agendas, meeting papers, and minutes Uploading information to online portals Meeting deadlines for the submission of information and documents Manage the council budget in conjunction with the Finance team Draft reports, speeches, and correspondence Coordinate functions on-site and off-site Work in conjunction with executive assistants to Board Members Maintain confidentiality Perform a variety of research projects Assist Director with strategic planning Work within compliance guidelines of a variety of different bodies Manage expectations of board members and directors The Requirements; Similar experience in a previous position Excellent administration skills Intermediate to advanced MS Word, MS Excel and proficiency in the use of databases and portals like Sharepoint, and MS Teams Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to meet deadlines If you feel you meet the requirements of the role then I encourage you to apply.
