Account Manager - Information Services
Fantastic opp to join a fast growing Information Services Company with a wide range of offerings. This Company is a leading economic research and consultancy firm, now looking to hire an Account Manager. The primary responsibility for this role will be to work with the Head of Account Management and the Account Management Team to grow and retain the subscription business in Australia and New Zealand.
This role is an integral part of this Global leader's growth plans for Australia and New Zealand and is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company at the forefront of the industry. You will be managing around 100 accounts ranging from small Think Tanks to ASX listed leaders in an autonomous role with plenty of face-to-face interaction and some Inter-State travel. The offerings are broad and range from in-depth macro-economic forecasting to property industry data and reports.
Some of your duties will include; To manage your own book of business ensuring high renewal rates (company average 90%) and obtain upsells to feed towards your individual targets Maintaining regular contact with clients to showcase the value of the Subscription Services Arranging and performing client face to face/online meetings for product demonstrations Designing and delivering targeted campaigns to your client base to drive upsells Scrutinizing your client base to identify upsell/cross sale opportunities Running the entire sales process from discovery to closing To provide support to clients to ensure they are maximizing their use of current subscription services to ensure ongoing renewal Arranging and performing client face to face/online meetings to run trainings Arranging meetings and presentations by economists for clients Managing and maintaining CRM for your client base Troubleshooting access issues, and product delivery to clients Managing renewal process CRM upkeep This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of this Company's exciting recent growth with opportunities to work in offices overseas available. The OTE in year one will be around $120K with a generous base salary and you will also be given extensive inhouse and external coaching along the way. To be successful you must have at least two years Account Management experience in either Information Services, Software or Financial Services.
