THE ROLE We have a great opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join our team working on the Northern Treatment Plants Capital Works Program The role is to provide document control, as an integral part of the project team, to deliver a significant capital works program.
Role Responsibilities Receiving and recording technical documents including drawings and specifications Liaison internally to coordinate document movements Transmitting project drawings and documents Maintain a filing system that supports efficient information management Coordinate storage and archiving of project and organisational records Plan, supervise and record document flow to and from all necessary parties Collect and store file from various disciplines Maintain a central project control system, covering project team, client, vendor and third-party documentation. Reviewing, compiling, scanning and filing documentation Administrating the document control system Key Attributes/Skills Required Experience working with Teambinder is highly desirable Experience in a similar role preferably in an engineering or construction environment Knowledge of contractual requirements of document flows, document control protocols and electronic document management systems Excellent communication skills across both verbal and written mediums Strong attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Office and excellent computer skills Applicants must have working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
