Argus Accommodation welcomes every guest, from the astute business-person to couples and small groups, to intrepid travellers looking for a lifetime experience. Argus Accommodation Darwin is seeking a highly motivated Guest Services Agent for front office reception.

Experience is essential for a regular roster on a permanent basis. Varied shifts including weekends a must. This is a permanent position with full-time hours offered to the right applicant.

Key Attributes The right applicant will possess the following; Front Office Reception experience using RMS or similar PMS software Driven customer service excellence Exceptional communication skills Strong work ethic Team focus attitude An ability to work well under pressure and multitask Strong personal initiative and maturity Consistently punctual and reliable Pride in personal work performance Professional presentation An ability to work autonomously, strictly following procedures and directives A friendly and proactive approach to the workplace and in resolving any issues Excellent time management skills A "can do attitude” with a smile Key responsibilities Undertaking all aspects of front office reception including; Friendly and professional facilitation of daily arrival and departure of our guests Attending to various guest needs, requests and enquiries Manage reservation enquiries and sales Promoting the Argus brand and Darwin region Administration and cleaning duties as required Monitoring the building security A variety of guest related and front office duties Finalising and balancing accounts and daily shift reports Night audit reconciliation and processing including accurately identifying any discrepancies between revenue and payments Experienced applicants will have a distinct advantage however, those with proven customer service experience and an ability to quickly adapt to the relevant systems and procedures, may be considered. Reliable method of out of hours transport is anticipated, availability for night shift a must. Reception operates 24 hours a day 7 days per week so it is important you are willing to be flexible and assist to relieve various leave when and where possible..
