As a key interface between product development and manufacturing , the Product Development Technologist is a strategic contributor to the innovation process allowing converted ideas into great products ready for consumption. About The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Senior Production Manager, key duties include the folloiwng: Key Responsibilities: Work closely with manufacturing and marketing counterparts to introduce new ingredients, formulations, packaging innovations and process improvements Provide technical support to manufacturing in the introduction of new products and processes Proactively support and lead ongoing process improvement & problem solve issues. Ensure compliance with local and global standards.
Effectively liaise with key internal and external stakeholders. About You Tertiary Qualifications in Food Science or Chemical Engineering Specific experience in food ingredients product development or process engineering gained in a large organisation Experience in fast paced operations including trials Interpersonal skills to work in a team and influence people outside of your direct control Excellent communication skills and professional presentation Up to 5 years professional work experience (this is a development role) Ready to relocate (if required) to the Regional Area.
