Our client is a well-established property owner and manager who has an impressive portfolio of retail and urban shopping centre assets across Australia. They currently have an opportunity for a shopping centre marketing professional to join one of their fantastic centres in Melbourne. As the Assistant Marketing Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in maximising the value of the centre through creating, implementing and managing strategic marketing initiatives which drive the centre's traffic, sales performance and market share.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include but not limited to: â€¢ Assist with the development of centre publications â€¢ Liaise with retailers for special promotional activities and social marketing initiatives â€¢ Event management and coordination â€¢ Own and manage all digital marketing activities for the centre including facebook, website and email. Drive the digital marketing program to maximise usage and create initiatives and be on the front foot of digital technology. To be successful in this role you will have proven marketing experience in a shopping centre or destination based environment across both strategy and execution.
You will be able to demonstrate strong ability to forge relationships with retailers and community groups and experience in digital marketing will be highly regarded. A Marketing or Communications degree is highly desirable. An attractive salary is on offer for the right candidate.
