TAFE Assessment Designer (Full Time or Part time)
Are you passionate about Assessment Writing to design innovative learning experiences for TAFE students? The position is a key role, developing assessments in key vocational learning areas. Our client is well renowned in the TAFE Education sector and is part of a project funded by the Government to build a collective and collaborative effort across seven regional TAFE, to source and build content packages in priority areas to; Build an assessment framework that takes into account the latest quality and compliance requirements Build unit based assessment toolkits for priority areas for TAFEs to download and use Build subject matter and championing capabilities in TAFE, in areas of LMS, instructional design and assessment frameworks during the project. The Assessment Designer will be responsible for providing specialist advice in development and designing assessment materials as well as liaising with key stakeholders.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Demonstrated ability to create assessment tools and templates to ensure rigour in the assessment process. Work closely with product specialists to develop assessment tools that adhere to universal design principles Ensure assessment tools are used to judge learners performance and support the principles of adult learning Assist with develop assessment tools that will withstand audit scrutiny to ensure the integrity of the assessment process Possess industry currency that includes evidence of industry relationships to ensure the development of valid reliable and authentic assessment tools Demonstrated ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team QUALIFICATIONS - SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Appropriate Degree or Diploma at AQF level equivalent and appropriate vocational and or industrial experience (in Carpentry & Building and Construction & Horticulture) Ideally a minimum 5 years industry experience Must have Assessment Writing experience TAE40116 Certificate in Training and Assessment Advanced MS Word Working knowledge of contemporary learning and assessment techniques Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as sated in duty statement If you have any queries, please contact Theresa at DFP Recruitment on 8632 9900, alternatively if this position sounds like a good fit to your experience, please click on 'APPLY NOW' to submit your resume with a cover letter.
