Our client is a large ASX listed mining organisation who are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join their vibrant team on a 3-month contract basis. The role This role will be reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will consist of the following duties but not limited to; Manage the preparation of the monthly Capital expenditure summary & variance analysis, major projects reports and balance commentaries.
Review of quarterly JV expenditure reports Supervise the national report on the group annual exploration expense and capital budgets, ensuring completion in a timely and accurate manner, according to the annual budget preparation timetable. Review of bank reconciliation prepared by offshore accountants. FX bank payments and transfers within bank accounts.
Assisting the Business Planning with a number of task including: AFE Tracking / Review / Follow up / Training, Stage Gate preparation and review, reviewing OFR requests, preparation and attendance of meetings. Co-ordinating, supervising and preparing responses to ad-hoc information requests from auditors, and other finance departments Ad hoc tasks as required Ideal Candidate CA/CPA qualified Accountant is preferred Team orientated - willing to assist other team members to get projects delivered under budget and on time Strong user of SAP Good management, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy High level organisational skills, resource management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines On Offer Great team environment Competitive hourly rate ASX Listed Leading Mining Organisation You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this role..
