The Role: Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the work on all refractory activities ensuring refractory repair & installation works are performed safely, to prescribed standards of quality and at the most economic cost.
Responsibilities Include: Perform Quality Assurance/Control Co-ordinate & supervise the daily & shutdown refractory installation & repair works of refractory crew Planning and scheduling routine work, responding to emergency work, obtains permits for vehicle entry, cold work, hot work, man entry, obtaining materials, approves Material Requisitions, etc. Prepare scope of refractory work, refractory survey reports and refractory material and accessories requirement assessment. The Person: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and specialization in Refractory.
8 years of experience in refractory installation & repair works work. Ability to write technical reports with minimum guidance. Ability to read refractory design drawings.
