Toolmaker and CNC Machinist
Specialist plastics manufacturer Excellent culture and working conditions State of the art equipment T HE COMPANY Our client is a specialist manufacturer of tooling, diecast moulds, press tools and special purpose machinery used in the manufacture of plastic material used across a variety of industries including mining, automotive, consumer products, construction and medical applications. THE ROLES Current opportunitis exist for both a full-time Toolmaker and a CNC Machinist which will see you working within a large, clean and well maintained workshop facility utilising state of the art equipment. These are dayshift roles which offer some flexibility with working hours (Can start at 6am) and scope for regular overtime after qualifying period.
The work is varied, interesting and steady paced and will see you being mentored and developed within a long established and professional team.Prior experience within a plastics manufacturing environment while an advantage is not essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES CNC Machinist: Assist with the manufacture and repair of injection moulds and dies Working on one off parts Delcam experience an advantage Working on an array of medium to large CNC machining centres Some exposure to programing or a willingness to learn Working from technical drawings and instructions Working with an array of hand tool and power tools and measuring instruments Toolmaker Previous experience with injection moulds Minimum 3 years experience Required for blank off and assembly of new tools Operation of manual milling machines.
