Workforce & Resource Planning Specialist
CLOSER BRAVER FASTER The Role This is a permanent role within the Operational Excellence team in Customer Labs Division. Operational Excellence is accountable for orchestrating the specialist capabilities of Customer Labs (Data, Analytics, Digital, Customer Futures, Innovation, Venturing and Marketing) to collaboratively deliver on the Customer Labs strategy of creating a future beyond insurance for IAG. As a Demand & Performance Management Specialist, you establish, lead and manage systems and processes that track and scale our ability to understand demand, optimise resources, meet financial commitments, and fulfil defined outcomes.
This role is open to candidates from Sydney and Melbourne. Key Responsibilities : Define key performance drivers for Customer Labs and understand how they are influenced, measured and attributed by initiatives Work with stakeholders across Customer Labs to develop and manage the Customer Labs prioritisation framework based on key performance drivers Validate whether costs incurred and benefits realised through our programs will meet our overarching commitments (e.g.
CL Balanced Scorecard measures) Implement and manage systems and processes to understand and visualise demand, forecast and use of resources, and highlight insights, including single point dependencies / trade-off decisions Ensure hubs have completed work effort allocation reporting in a timely manner, and support the capability uplift by providing guidance and coaching to teams Develop performance dashboards that helps create transparent reporting and facilitate effective reviews of the progress and performance of our business Deliver tailored reporting into Customer Labs decision-making forums, focussing on insights and call to action, including those related to risks, opportunities, etc. Ensure the capture of initiative quarterly performance results, manage the ratings process and work with leaders across Customer Labs to validate results Support the management of the Customer Labs budget and add value through engagement from Group Finance, including managing consistent chargeback mechanisms across Customer Labs Skills & Experience Proven experience over 5 years in a similar demand and performance management role Demonstrated effectiveness in building reporting capability that drives decision making Analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into relevant insights Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to quickly raise and highlight issues Desire to continuously improve and optimise processes Strong influencing and communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse people and foster positive relationships Strong capabilities leveraging JIRA / Confluence for reporting Strong commercial and financial acumen Tertiary qualification/s in Economics, Business, Finance or related discipline About Us At IAG, we believe that everyone has a unique point....
