Perform inspection, checks and testing of Control and Electrical systems used on BHGE equipment during both Operations and maintenance activities. To Support to customer Operations team in Resident Engineer Control Function. Primarily on LM6000 ADGT and LM2500 ADGT Turbines.
Essential Responsibilities: Identify issues, fault-find and problem solve to ensure smooth and timely progression of the works. Longer-term resident assignments involving monitoring, maintenance and management of equipment in close relationships with asset owners. Planned maintenance outages and unscheduled maintenance events.
Act as a single point of contact between clients and the greater BHGE organisation for technical issues, and resolution. Provide technical advice and support to clients and craft labor in the commissioning and maintenance of GE equipment. This will involve accessing BHGE's eTools system to locate and source technical information including reports, drawings and Bills of Material, interpret this information in line with BHGE requirements and advise the client.
Interaction with the BHGE engineering team both locally and internationally is also required. Qualifications/Requirements: Engineering Degree/High School Technical Diploma or equivalent business experience. From 7-10 years of related working experience in Oil & Gas industry within maintenance Operations and Residential field roles.
High Degree of competency in MK6e Control System, DLE Mapping, Surge Technology. Desired Characteristics: Salary Band: $100,000.00 - $140,000.
