You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience with strong qualitative skills and be able to run mixed methodology projects from beginning to end. The Research Director's role is to help drive the growth of current clients under their responsibility: At a people level, this includes assisting in the mangement of the team who work with these clients. At a process level, this includes working with senior team members to identify and apply best practice approaches that deliver both efficient and effective outcomes.
At a project level, this includes ensuring an efficient and effective process from briefing to final delivery of outputs (and where relevant ongoing engagement) that delivers to project objectives, on time, and to the H&P expected profit margin. In relation to existing clients, this involves further developing and deepening these relationships, ensuring that clients expectations are met and exceeded and that we are viewed as a trusted advisor, valued partner and provider of choice. It also includes supporting senior team members in identifying further opportunities to grow the client.
In relation to prospective clients, this involves supporting senior team members in identifying new prospects in related / likeminded sectors / areas, developing relationships with them, gaining the opportunity to pitch on work, and leading winning pitch / tender processes. They have significant responsibility (with senior team members) for driving the overall growth and profitability of their client base, and the business as a whole.
