Building on the development and success of the Claims department, we have an opportunity for someone to join this forever expanding team, responsible for Technical Excellence within the Technical Support Team. What you should expect You will play an important role in enhancing the unit's customer service and cost effective claims management delivery and will act as a technical referral point for Claims staff where you will assist in the development of technical claims knowledge and act as an escalation point for technical disputes.
The role will provide you with a significant level of autonomy and in this we are seeking those with a proactive approach to their work. You will be working with a team of dedicated Technical Leads that aim to improve outcomes and processes to allow the continual development of staff and enhance the experience for our Customers. As a Technical Lead you will ensure adherence to Compliance procedures, Allianz internal policy/process and relevant legislation.
Important to your success You will bring an ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders across our business divisions. You are known for your strong analytical skills and business focused solutions. In addition you will be valued for; Extensive technical experience in claims handling, managing core and/or complex claims Cross-skilled in Property/Motor preferred (not essential) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal A passion for coaching and knowledge sharing with team members Effective time management skills Effective management of Internal and External Customers Strong analytical skills ANZIIF/Industry equivalent qualifications (desirable) Possess knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act, Insurance & Brokers Act, ASIC Debt Collection Guidelines and the Code of Practice What's On Offer This role will present an exciting opportunity to join a global iconic insurance organisation, which is transforming through an exciting time of change and growth.
