ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT OFFICER
About the role The Administrative Support Officer will report to the Services Coordinator and will provide high quality administrative support to the Senior Research Managers and academic staff members of the Melbourne Institute. This is a broad-based administration role with a communication focus. Responsibilities include maintaining the Melbourne Instituteâ€™s social media channels, compiling and sending internal and external newsletters, undertaking web content updates, writing and editing communication material, and design and layout of marketing collateral produced in-house by the Melbourne Institute.
The role is also responsible for a range of administrative tasks including the maintenance of information databases and general administrative support. About you Completion of a relevant tertiary qualification in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training Well-developed planning and organisational skills with the ability to exercise judgement and show initiative in determining priorities Demonstrated experience with use of social media and web applications, including developing, updating and maintaining contents of a website.
