The Role Leadership and execution of all day-to-day operational responsibilities of this large and complex warehouse A born leader, the successful candidate will work effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring the warehouse is a productive, positive and safe operating environment for all staff You will foster a safety culture, manage the financial budgets and drive team performance via KPIs Your engaging nature will ensure a genuine collaboration and team spirit, minimal absenteeism and an ability to negotiate positive outcomes with external parties, including union and OHS representatives The development and execution of logistics optimisation projects across their distribution and transport network.
Your Background You will be an experienced Warehouse Manager with an ability to develop best practice processes and systems. Degree qualified You must have experience in running a warehouse operation that handles fast moving products (ideally FMCG) The ability to effectively lead a large and diverse team, you must be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on outcomes to improve the distribution process. Strong analysis skills coupled with an ability to influence outcomes will also be essential.
