Byford Secondary College is seeking to establish a pool of exceptional Arts Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2020 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2020 school year. Suitable applicants will be student and relationship focused, innovative and motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
You will demonstrate the professional knowledge, understandings and experience to develop and implement an engaging and relevant secondary school Arts curriculum in both the visual and performance contexts. As an expert practitioner you will have demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and engage in regular self-reflection. Another key attribute is the ability to create environments conducive to learning and provide educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant, catering for different student learning needs.
The desired applicant will have links in the Community Arts Network and the adaptability to engage media, dance and photography programmes. Byford Secondary College is an Independent Public School catering for children from Years 7 to 12.
