The Role This dynamic role will give you the chance to combine your planning, analytical, selling and stakeholder management skills to assist in the execution of the construction sales strategy for one of the world’s leading Caterpillar dealers.

Your ability to analyse, interpret and communicate detailed product, market and customer information will support new machine forecast accuracy. Further, your ability to work collaboratively with the Construction Sales team, Customers and Caterpillar, will be pivotal in the delivery of our business results. This role is crucial to the WesTrac succession planning process, your development will focus on industry, market, customer and account management to ensure you are well placed to start your career in the construction equipment industry.

Your key responsibilities will include: Providing accurate, structured reports and business insights to support sales performance, understand market trends and enhance business forecasting Identifying, collecting, and interpreting internal and external data to identify trends, provide detailed market analysis, and present findings to key stakeholders Interacting with various cross-functional groups to bring insight and competitive intelligence to the sales plans Supporting the annual and long-term planning process, customer segmentation and sales forecasting Working cross-functionally to assist in development of Go-to-Market strategies Developing a deep understanding of segments and customers, using all data available (sales in, out, market research and industry reports), communicating that understanding across the business to drive awareness of the key opportunities, issues and challenges facing WesTrac’s construction team Supporting industry days and events to gain insight into competitor activity and customer engagement About You Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field Commercial experience in B2B or B2C sales Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Effective problem-solving and project management skills High level of analytical, business modelling and reporting skills and computer literacy (specifically Excel) Knowledge of analytical tools such as Power BI or Tableau Your Rewards In return for your talent and commitment WesTrac pr.
