About the role Â» A Hawk-Eye Systems Operator works across a broad range of sports, in a mainly operational capacity whilst having a direct impact on improving/developing current innovations. You will report directly to the Operations Team with a strong focus on match day commitments across multiple sports including AFL, NRL, Cricket, Tennis, Football & Supercars. Work with match officials in a live sporting environment, responding to their requests for replays and quickly delivering them the best possible angles to make match changing decisions.
Work with TV broadcast to provide in-depth match analysis. Have the capacity to travel interstate and/or overseas when needed. Potential for the role to extend to project management as opportunities arise.
This is a full-time position and will include weekend work depending on match day needs and operator availability. Requirements What we need from you Â» We are looking for people who will consistently demonstrate: â— A strong technical grounding, ideally with a degree in a science, technology, mathematics or engineering course or equivalent. â— Innovative thinking, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
â— Proactive motivation and desire to learn new skills whilst building upon what you already have to offer. â— Ability to work with clients and customers in an approachable and professional manner. â— Time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, live broadcast environment.
â— Experience in troubleshooting both hardware and software. â— Ideally, an interest in sport and/or sport analysis. â— Comfortable working at heights.
