Xcellerate IT, a market leader in business process automation with a focus on accounts payable, is currently looking for a Technical Consultant. This critical role will be responsible for helping businesses understand and describe their processes; then utilise this information to create the project’s technical documents. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with strong stakeholder management experience, solid documentation skills, strong .

NET skills and a real business acumen with a good understanding of scope and deliverables for capture & workflow projects. Ideally you will have worked within a high profile consultancy or relevant software vendor and have over 3 years’ experience of project engagement with external clients. The key to your success is your ability to analyse unfamiliar & complex processes and understand their interdependencies, to put forward value added recommendations that fit the restraints of the client's budget, project viability & functionality of the software.

Your responsibilities in this role include: Close involvement with the client’s stakeholders and users in identifying and documenting the business and technical requirements to be addressed and supported by the systems Prepare high level & detailed estimates for solutions and change requests Working with the project manager and solutions engineers, you will be responsible team member for the successful delivery of business and IT projects Consulting services – gather customer requirements, architect/develop/configure solutions, prepare test conditions, perform comprehensive QA and implement Create quality project documentation & retain ownership of these document. Ability to facilitate on-site scoping workshops and document user requirements in order to complete a comprehensive Customer Solution Description. Conduct business process reviews, scoping sessions and solution health checks followed by comprehensive documentation for C-level stakeholders along with business stakeholders.

Conduct client education classes & prepare training material Provide Application Support and maintain the solutions once delivered Liaise with clients and management with status on current projects To excel in this role, you will have the following technical competencies and experience: A degree with major in IT and/or Finance/Business Management Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian Permanent Resident requirement Minimum commercial experience of 5 plus years in Australia, NZ, North America or Europe in technical consulting/software implementation, facilitating workshops, documenting processes, developing technical and functional specifications as well as your proven analytical capability, ideally on Accounts Payable Workflow Projects Minimum technical experience of 3 plus years with enterprise capture and business process automation software (e.g. Kofax KC/KTM/TA, Singularity, Skelta, e5, K2, IBM Trivoli etc.
