The Mulberry Group is now recruiting for two exciting venues to be opening in early October. With a restaurant and wine bar opening soon, we are looking for wine-focussed hospitality professionals to join us at an exciting time. The Mulberry Group, the team that previously opened and operated Higher Ground, Top Paddock and Kettle Black and more recently opened Liminal and the not-for-profit Common Ground Project, are now recruiting for two exciting new venues opening at the beginning of October in Flinders Lane.
Hazel will be focussed on great produce with engaging and approachable service stripping away the bells and whistles open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday and lunch only on Sunday, while Dessous will be a basement level wine bar operating Monday to Saturday nights from 5pm until late. The Sommelier role involves Working closely with the Group Beverage Manager to help deliver and develop the wine list Driving FOH wine service standards Assisting in stock management operations The successful candidate will have the following: Strong knowledge of local and international wines Genuine passion in talking about wines and loves sharing their knowledge with guests and staff Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment We are also taking expressions of interest for floor staff for both venues.
