There has never been a more irresistible time to join As we enter our new phase as Kmart Group, to help deliver our plans and vision we have created a new position â€“ Group Cyber Security Architect. This role will report into the Group Head of IT â€“ Cyber Security and will be primarily based at Kmart Head Office (Mulgrave), with 1-2 days per week based at Target Head Office (Williams Landing).
The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for translating the business vision and strategy into enterprise change by creating, communicating and improving the key security principles, standards and models that describe the enterprise future state. This greenfield role is new and integral to the Kmart Group and will influence all proposed solutions and technology selection, ensuring decisions are fit for purpose; deliver value for money; and are aligned to business priorities and the IT and Cyber security strategies and architectural direction. Specifically this role will be accountable for the following: Creating architecture standards, governance and compliance for the Group; Influencing and guiding the implementation of projects from a security perspective; Wide ranging influence across all projects to ensure security standards are adhered to; Focus on architecting within Public and Hybrid Cloud Solutions and across the in-store network which spans Australia and Nez Zealand with over 500 stores within the network; Act as a technical authority on cyber security and provide project direction, coaching and mentoring of architects and design leads; Successfully translating the complex technical ideas to a non-technical audience; Developing original concepts and solutions to ensure enterprise information security architecture and information assurance.
To be successful in this role you will have a deep understanding of AWS and Azure platform features pertaining to security, compliance and optimisation, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the principles of secure data communication and encryption technology, together with a practical understanding of security methodologies and their application.
