Senior Account Executive Exposure to portfolio of financial lines accounts Permanent Role Melbourne , Docklands About the role An opportunity has become available for a Senior Account Executive to join our FINPRO practice, based in, Melbourne. In this role, you will be managing a portfolio of financial lines accounts, ensuring high quality customer service is provided at all times, ensuring high quality customer service is provided at all times. Key Responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation, management, implementation and achievement of business plans and goals Managing a portfolio of own accounts Pro-actively identifying and aligning key needs of the clients in accordance with the agreed service standards Possessing a thorough understanding of financial and professional classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients and keep abreast of all new technical issues and product developments Maintaining awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients and colleagues through regular contact and interaction Encouraging and developing team skills through on the job training, regular performance feedback and external competency based training Developing new business opportunities from existing portfolio and other sources.

Ensuring strict adherence to the Company’s compliance systems and procedures Ensuring all activities fully comply with Company’s Errors and Omissions policy. Skills & Experience required: Ideally, a minimum of 5 years broking experience within financial lines Prior experience managing a portfolio (medium to large corporate accounts) Admission as a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker by the National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong influencing and negotiation skills Tier 1 FSRA Compliance is essential and a tertiary qualification in Insurance Broking will be highly regarded but not essential Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills About Marsh Marsh is a global leader in insurance broking and risk management.
