You will support this Advisory team in the co-ordination of their client management and marketing activities and administration to ensure an optimal client service experience is delivered in line with the businesses objectives and values. The opportunity will afford you high levels of autonomy and an ability to show case initiative and pro activity in driving the success of the team.

You’ll display confidence and advanced communication skills overseeing the desk and responding to client calls when the Advisors are absent as well as being involved in client seminars. The responsibilities of the role go beyond what is normally perceive of an Advisor Assistant and cross over with Associate Advisor requirements. You’ll be supporting a Wholesale client base of High Net Worth clients requiring a high degree of sophistication and high touch delivery.

This opportunity will provide you with a breadth of experience and exposure to Investment Portfolio Structuring in supporting the Advisors as well as specialists in Financial Planning, Portfolio Modelling, Equity and Fixed Income Research and Discretionary Portfolio Management. You’ll gain significant client exposure through co coordinating and attending client functions and marketing events and being the first point of contact for the team. You will also be involved in client reviews, preparing investment proposals, preparing information for client Advisor meetings and placing buy and sell orders and quote requests.

You will also provide effective and timely management of settlement obligations including funds and/ or securities due, margin calls, stock transfers, corporate actions management and IPO and Placement coordination. They would look to develop a person with the right aptitude and passion into an Advisor in time. There is excellent long term career progression for a person who has strong aspirations.
