Finishes Foreman - $50M to $100M projects - ASAP start



Our client is an established and successful upper Tier 2 business who have built a reputation as a respected construction company. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Finishes Foreman. Working across education, health, commercial and residential projects to name a few, you will take responsibility for all live projects for quality, programme, constructability and site management.

In addition, you will work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the construction plan is adhered to on site. The projects will be from $50m and be of a new build nature initially working on high rise luxury residential schemes. Experience in the full life cycle of a new build project from sub-structure to super structure, envelope, services, internals and finishes through to handover is desireable however emphasis for this role will be on finishes.

The client is looking for candidates with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills and can mentor the junior members of the team. Attention to detail will be paramount. Reporting to: Site Manager / Project Manager Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ensure that onsite HSE and quality inductions are conducted with all onsite staff / subcontractors Develop overall project plans to meet head contract requirements Coordinate site infrastructure planning Organise all site inspections by clients, architects, authorities as required Provide updates to the client and attend client meetings Assist with preparation of scopes of work Liaise with Contracts Administrator to ensure relevant insurances, work method statements have been provided by subcontractors Review progress of activities, ensuring appropriate action is taken to resolve any issues Conduct regular meetings and annual performance management with direct reports Qualifications and Requirements: Trade or building related qualification Minimum 5 - 10 years experience in site supervision and management of medium to high rise residential and commercial projects Construction Safety Induction (White) card Senior First Aid Certificate Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to building sites Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate large site teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate with and manage client expectations Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, Aconex Possess a solid work history with long tenure in roles This is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with an established organisation.
