Industrial Blaster/Painter â€“ BHP Major Shutdown Outages (Oct â€“ Dec)
The Role Programmed Industrial Maintenance will be conducting major shutdowns in Kwinana from October through to early December and currently seeking Industrial Blaster/Painter to join our Shutdown team for the period. Planning and scheduling for the shutdowns has commenced with the execution phase taking place soon. Programmed will be requiring multi-skilled crews, integrating with the clientâ€™s maintenance team.
Pre-shut work and rolling work to commence mid-September. Successful applicants will have previous mine site or refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety. Skills, Experience and Attributes The ideal candidate will possess the following; Previous experience in Industrial Painting & Blasting Airless & Conventional Experience Current nationally accredited Working at Heights ticket Current nationally accredited Confined Space ticket Previous mining and/or shutdown experience Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen Ability to work well within a Team BHP Nickel West Induction (highly regarded) Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen Demonstrated commitment to safety A commitment to diversity and inclusion A commitment to achieving Zero Harm Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction is delivered to the client A pro-active approach to resolving issues and excellent attention to detail What you need to know: Drive in Drive Out â€“ Kwinana Great pay rates on offer Up to 12 hour shifts Both day and night shifts available Great team environment Work with a team committed to your safety Our success is built on the talent and enthusiasm of our people.
