Compliance Assurance Officer

In this exciting new role you will work independently (reporting to the Chief Risk Officer) with RACTâ€™s diverse and innovative businessâ€™s to drive, shape and implement the compliance framework, monitoring, supporting and guiding managers through risk and compliance.
You will bring: Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and influence people at all levels Demonstrated ability to convey and explain compliance and risk information confidently to various audiences Excellent planning, prioritisation and administrative skills Excellent solutions driven focus to meet regulatory requirements Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Ability to interpret and apply legislative and regulatory requirements Qualifications and Experience: Experience in legal/auditing/or compliance environments Relevant Tertiary qualifications Experience in general insurance, banking and/or financial services About the position: Your initial focus will be to assist in the development and implementation of a framework for quality assurance and compliance within our retail network. Once established, your key responsibilities will focus on: Assisting in the development and execution of quality assurance Develop and maintain a program of work designed to ensure that the RACT complies with regulatory requirements and positive adherence to internal policies and procedures Assisting the Chief Risk Officer in the development and maintenance of internal governance frameworks, key risk indicators and compliance policies Undertaking activities to support organisational cultural change around compliance frameworks.
