AU/NZ Sales Director

We currently have offices in Wellington NZ, New York City and Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our successful global sales team as our first Sydney based hire, to work within our most mature markets. You'll have the backing of our intellectually curious Montouxvians who always band together to help make each other successful.
We have an existing base of stable customers and big brands that are using Montoux, and as NZ and Australia are our most mature market this role will be a combination of winning new business and expanding business with existing customers. Youâ€™ll be supported with warm leads, there will be some prospecting, market and business development required, both directly and with our flourishing partners. What you'll mainly be doing: Manage existing accounts (>6) of large insurance companies and identify opportunities to provide additional value to them and generate new revenue for Montoux Develop leads, normally through the marketing team (i.
e. events and campaigns) within insurance carriers in AU/NZ for Montoux Create new leads, through specific campaigns you embark on with your target customers Exploit Montoux's high performing marketing team to build our brand and create opportunities Build and nurture existing client relationships, leading to creation of new opportunities Help life insurance companies understand the challenges they face in Pricing Transformation today and position Montoux to help solve them Be the face of Montoux in-region, especially at Montoux events and other industry conferences/events Develop business through Montoux's growing partner channel and collaborate with them on events Qualify prospects and manage a sales pipeline Prepare sales plans/account plans based on specific accounts agreed to be targeted Manage contract negotiations with new clients Work with our customer success, data science and actuarial team/s to represent the voice of the customer to help design and develop new products and services Requirements Experience selling to large enterprises, preferably within financial services, even more preferred in insurance, even more preferred in life insurance Experience maintaining solid relationships with customers, and proven ability to keep those relationships profitable through new business with existing customers. Know how to maximize opportunities coming from partners and turn those into deals Experience working with global consultancies and software companies to create joint value propositions Able to own all stages of the pipeline,....
