About the Role Reporting to the Technical Manager the successful telecommunications technician will be required to execute technical services and maintenance contracts across an array of telecommunications clients and equipment in the Northern Territory. There is a requirement to install repair and service equipment in remote areas, both onshore and offshore as required. Duties will include but not be limited to: Project work and maintenance utilising various radio technologies such as analogue, DMR, TETRA infrastructure and subscribers.

Ability to execute all project works and maintenance for radio networks, CCTV, PAGA, telephony and IP networks. Experience with complex system integration, design, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Ability to perform repair and service work on equipment when necessary Client liaison and high level customer service resulting in long term relationships and follow on work.

Scheduling and prioritisation of technical resources for planned and unplanned work Mentorship of technical services team members, striving to develop a high-performance, agile team. Maintenance of technical equipment, calibration register and tools required by the Technical Services Manager including vehicles. Key Requirements Certificate III or higher in electronics engineering, RF engineering or related fields of study Other role-related licences and registrations as required Strong technical knowledge of the following radio and telecommunications equipment: P25, TETRA, and DMR radio equipment Radio Spectrum Network based radio systems Proven success in technical role Wireless, IP networking, PAGA, telephony and microwave experience is highly desirable Public Announcement, radar and display, compass, access control, CCTV, UPS and complex antenna systems experience is desirable.

Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot and fault find in time critical situation Strong analytical skills Familiar with fast paced moving environment and swift response times. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 plus super, depending on experience..
