Your Success is Our Success. The Opportunity: A new opportunity exists for a HD Diesel Fitter or Mechanical Fitter to join our Pre- Delivery team based at our Welshpool Branch.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor/ Leading Hand, the purpose of the role will be working on Komatsu OEM machinery that complies with our optimum quality standard on a broad range of machines including utility, construction and mining equipment. This will include base assembly, fitment of customer specified local options and performance testing of machinery whilst ensuring compliance with SWP installation guides and our customer’ requirements. Key Responsibilities: Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of technical understanding of the design & function of Komatsu machinery and carry out all assembly tasks to the highest quality.

Ability to demonstrate competencies of inspections, repairs, testing and adjusting utilising relevant literature and testing equipment. Ensure all tasks are performed within the set standard hours. Ability to follow SWP’s and identify areas for improvement.

The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for: Relevant Trade Certificate (HD Diesel Fitter or Mechanical Fitter) Minimum 1 years post apprenticeship experience, working to OEM guidelines and requirements. Current Australian Driver’s Licence, Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision. A demonstrated commitment to safety within the workplace Sound written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems.
