We are now accepting expressions of interest from suitably skilled and experienced candidates who wish to work with our Lifeguard Services team as Casual Beach Lifeguard in the Summer of 2019/2020. This is an expression of interest and applications will close Friday 08 November. Applicants who progress to the next stages of recruitment will be required to attend the following: Fitness Assessment – Tuesday 12 November AND Wednesday 13 November 2019 Pre-employment Medical Assessment – will occur during the week of 18-22 November 2019 Orientation and Induction – Thursday 12 December 2019 About You You're passionate about water safety and enjoy providing a high level customer service and facilitating a safe and enjoyable beach experience.

You have high level customer service skills with the ability to demonstrate strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills liaising with the public, other staff members and other organisations. You have the ability to work productively in a team environment, and to foster good relationships with other team members. You maintain a sound knowledge of current legislation, standards, policies and guidelines and ensure all your qualifications are current including: An ocean lifeguard qualification e.

Statement of Attainment in Bronze Medallion, Australian Professional Ocean Lifeguard Award (APOLA) or equivalent Current QLD Working with Children’s Blue Card Statement of Attainment in Advanced Resuscitation and First Aid Driver’s Licence Jet ski (PWCL) or marine/boat licence highly desirable How to Apply If you have the relevant skills and experience, apply now Please ensure you scan all licences and qualifications together in one document and uploaded under “Identification Document”.
