Not for Profit organisation in Moree (North West NSW) about 3 hours north of Tamworth are seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to plan, design and deliver appropriate and varied lifestyle programs to meet the individual needs of the residents. The position includes assessing and reviewing the lifestyle needs of individual residents and creating a lifestyle program to ensure positive resident outcomes based on cultural & spiritual needs and preferences. Skills and experience for this position: Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle & Leisure), Diversional Therapy and/or relevant qualifications at Certificate IV level.

Previous experience in a similar role in residential aged care or community setting. Ability to assess each resident's social & emotional needs and design appropriate, individual lifestyle programs to meet their needs. Competent in developing lifestyle care plans An understanding of the ageing process and caring for older people.

Self-motivation with well-developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, delegate and attend to multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills. Willing to undergo a National Criminal History Records check.

Current Drivers Licence - no restrictions.This is a permanent part-time position - 4 days per week.
