The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join the teaching team at the Central Clinical School where you will contribute to the innovation of education and leading the design and delivery of education at the University.
In this position you will report to the Director of Education and take a leadership role in innovation, curriculum design and development of the Translational Research graduate education programs, and contribute to the leadership in the development of the Human Pathology undergraduate education programs. The Role You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars, identification of, and engagement with, key discipline experts to deliver guest teaching, preparation of course material, marking and assessment and contribution to the development and delivery of curriculum. About You As the successful candidate you will have completed a relevant doctoral qualification or have equivalent research and teaching experience and have a demonstrated strong record of teaching experience in a tertiary environment with the ability to motivate, actively engage and educate an audience, possess a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively and cooperatively with students, internal and external teams and agencies and have had previous experience in supervising coursework and HDR students.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated. This appointment is a 2 year position with the potential of becoming ongoing based on the success of the course. At Monash University, we are committed to being a Child Safe organisation.
