SENIOR LECTURER IN HIGHER EDUCATION
We are seeking a Senior Lecturer to play a substantive role in advancing the effective use of innovative and engaging learning approaches, including the rollout of blended and online subject design to align with the overall strategic Learning and Teaching direction of the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE). Working as part of the Williams Centre for Learning Advancement team, in this role you would be responsible for leading and coordinating activities designed to build awareness and support for the Centre's work, and for the development of a suite of diagnostic/evaluation tools, and both face to face, blended and online learning and training programs to support teaching staff in the FBE. You will need to demonstrate an ability and willingness to engage in teaching and learning research relevant to the Centre.
To be successful in this role you will possess a relevant postgraduate qualification and experience in teaching in a tertiary environment. You will also have demonstrated experience in strategic thinking and strong conceptual skills with high level ability to initiate, develop and make recommendations in relation to learning design in curriculum development, delivery and assessment. Also required is an ability to initiate, design and lead professional development programs in a team environment.
