The Opportunity Liaise efficiently with financial planners nationally to generate financial plans & reviews Use financial planning knowledge/experience to scrutinise financial plans/modelling prior to sign off and ensure the financial plan is appropriate and compliant Utilise financial planning software to produce modelling and graphs for inclusion in financial plans & reviews Contribute significantly to team goals in a proactive manner including achieving specified production, quality & turnaround time targets Undertake ongoing professional development to maintain personal financial adviser status Manage and prioritise time and workloads effectively Manage, prioritise and allocate workload to team effectively Proactively provide training of team members Attend meetings, seminars, training sessions Read relevant notes, legislation and publications to stay up to date with current developments Ensure that correct procedures are followed to avoid possible financial loss to the client or Perpetual, particularly in regard to recommendations in SOAs About You Possess at least 5 years of solid work experience in Paraplanning (particularly around strategy) Completed DFP 1-8 or equivalent RG146 studies RG146 compliant Experienced Xplan user Investment or financial knowledge ideally at a tertiary level with practical experience Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to identify areas/methods which could be improved Possess excellent relationship building/management skills Highly developed financial planning knowledge, technical skills with a sound understanding of investment principles Methodical in monitoring the results of actions Strong lateral thinking skills Perpetual is one of Australia’s leading financial institutions because for over 130 years we have been putting our clients first – and investing in our people.
