Focused Fire Engineering is an independent consulting firm with extensive experience in developing and tailoring performance- based fire safety solutions in existing and new buildings for a range of building schemes Australia wide. We have a strong pipeline of high-profile projects working alongside esteemed clients and the business is in an exciting period of growth and development. At Focused we believe in an end to end service delivery from high level master planning to upgrade works in existing buildings.

Identifying the key fire safety issues early is essential in influencing an optimal building services and architectural design from a flexibility and cost perspective. Our relationships with buildings extend beyond construction whereby we can undertake fire safety compliance audits, feasibility studies for upgrade works or fire mode testing to support annual testing requirements. Leveraging off our key industry relationships with authorities and stakeholder teams, we communicate our requirements effectively and leave every project with a coordinated fire engineering design.

About the role Focused is seeking a highly motivated and competent Office Manager to join our team.

Key roles and responsibilities include: − Day to day management of the Office Procurement of food and drink for the office o Greeting visitors to the office Procurement (travel, hotels and supplies) − Maintenance of Xero accounting system Ensure all expenses recorded, receipts attached, and invoices paid timely Raise customers invoices Set up new customers Draft payroll fortnightly Draft superannuation quarterly Monitor payment of client invoices, identify overdue items and follow up where required − Support the Engineers Preparation of monthly performance reporting Coordination of recruitment Drafting of team meeting agenda and minutes Coordinate quarterly team offsite/team building activities o Drafting of policies and procedures Formatting of templates/reports/submissions o Records Management. Key requirements We are seeking candidates who have the following skills: High attention to detail High level communication skills both written and verbal Ability to multitask, prioritise and take ownership of projects Two-years' experience in a similar role Experience with Xero Accounting Software Skills and confidence to work autonomously Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Team player with the ability to work cooperatively and flexibly with a varied team of people Reliable, flexible and adaptable Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity of information and use discretion when dealing with such matters Additional Information Part-ti.
