AHP2 Psychology Locum Register Education Job reference: 343485 Location: - VARIOUS - Job status: Short Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone The psychologist is a member of an inter-disciplinary team and works with children and young people with developmental, cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural and physical difficulties, and exceptional needs (including giftedness) and their families. The psychologist works with preschool and school staff, and parents to develop evidence based psychology interventions that include proactive, targeted and intensive strategies that can be adapted for learning and home contexts. This position works under the professional support and direction of the Senior Psychologist.
Essential Qualifications Current and full registration (general) with the Psychologist Board of Australia. Applicants are required to submit the following: Application Cover Sheet Pre-employment Declaration Locum Register Application form Written application (500 words) and a CV up to 1,500 words) Copy of current DHS child related employment screening Copy of current Responding to Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care Training, if available, or confirmation of enrolment in the course The Psychology Locum Register allows for eligible applicants to apply. Temporary vacancies exist throughout the year and in order to meet this demand, successful applicants will be placed and drawn from the register progressively until 29 February 2020.
