Trainer and Assessor - AMEP/SEE

You will be responsible for the development, planning, preparation, teaching, delivery, assessment and evaluation of units and courses according to the training package or accredited course, as per the Training and Assessment Strategy. As well as classroom delivery, part of your role will be to complete a range of set administrative tasks. You will ensure all aspects of the program including delivery, assessment and records administration meet the compliance requirements for ASQA, AMEP and SEE contract requirements.
This position may be required to deliver training at different sites within the regions. Conduct and document initial client interviews and pre-training assessments Record and maintain accurate client information in learnersâ€™ portfolios/files and data systems in a timely manner Promote student attendance to minimise absenteeism and contact students to discuss absence, identifying barriers and supporting their return to class Develop teaching resources that meet training package and contract requirements Deliver a range of curriculum using mandated resources to achieve outcomes for students Use effective learning techniques, strategies and resources to meet the challenging needs of various client groups Demonstrate flexibility as to levels, student cohorts and the focus of delivery, to maintain a student-centred approach Ensure all assessments are completed as per the Training and Assessment Strategy and Program requirements, within the timelines identified Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and assessment in line with MAX Solutions and contractual requirements Conduct Exit Interviews, close and update the IPG prior to clients completing training Ensure use of current resources/forms/documents Participate in staff meetings, curriculum development and other professional development opportunities Participate in professional development relevant to teaching and assessment to maintain vocational currency and ensure records are updated Complete and maintain a Trainer HR Matrix using the template provided by MAX Solutions Participate in moderation, validation and quality assurance processes including internal and external audits Comply with all WHS procedures ensuring that team members abide by all relevant health and safety procedures Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours and report all accidents, incidents or near misses immediately Follow / adhere to all other MAX policies and procedures.
