Grounds Maintenance in a Cemetery
Are you someone who holds qualifications in Horticulture or ongoing, paid experience in the sector? Are you interested in applying your knowledge within a southern suburbs cemetery? If so, please read on The Role This horticulture role within a revered southern Adelaide cemetery involves the upkeep and general maintenance of the cemetery grounds and graves by way of: lawn mowing, whipper snipping, mulching, hedging, pruning, installing/troubleshooting irrigation, MR truck driving, excavator/front end loader/skid steer operation with some Gravedigging occasionally required. This work is fast-paced, highly intensive and physically demanding and often involves working in adverse weather conditions. This role will be offered on a casual basis with full-time hours.
The Applicant The successful applicant will display initiative, enthusiasm, and- a positive work ethic at all times, and the ability to undertake labour intensive work outdoors. Together with this, the successful applicant will be capable of operating a variety of gardening machinery along with mobile plant if qualified.
