Software enhancements have also continued in parallel to deliver database as a service, & NonStop as a service is in development.
As part of this exciting journey we have a unique & exciting opportunity for an energetic Pre Sales Consultant/Architect to champion NonStop within Australia & New Zealand . Based in Sydney, this role will be structured within t he Mission Critical & High Performance Computing team. Key Responsibilities: Help maintain HPEâ€™s credibility & customer/sales satisfaction by developing trusted relationships with customer stakeholders throughout the sales cycle Participate in deep-dive discussions & evaluate customer's current business needs & desired end-state infrastructure solution to translate the technical view into the implementation view & determine implementation steps necessary to meet complex technical requirements Actively support & collaborate with the account sales teams for solution advice, proposal responses, presentations, & other customer communications Work in tandem with Sales Specialists to formulate account strategies & fulfil sales goals Work effectively with ISV Partners to identify opportunities to accelerate business Liaise with Australian Tandem Users Group (OZTUG) to provide feedback to local management & global product management, and to participate in event organisation Attend Customer/Partner meetings, perform or arrange demonstrations & Proof of Concepts Understand & maintain knowledge of the competitive environment & competitorâ€™s strategies â€‹ Experience, Skills & Attributes Required: A minimum of 5 years Pre Sales &/or technical consultative selling & engagement experience A minimum of 3 yearsâ€™ experience as a System Manager, or Software Developer with a preference for NonStop experience, otherwise on UNIX, AIX or Mainframe systems Solid understanding & working experience with NonStop OSS or other Linux/Unix environments Strong working knowledge of Databases & Operating Systems Familiarity with VMware/Hyper-V/KVM Familiarity with Open Source Frameworks & development tools Demonstrable experience working on complex engagements throughout the sales cycle Ability to talk about technical subjects & deliver technical presentations or training to audiences with both technical & non-technical backgrounds Ability to articulate the business outcome & ROI of a solution to all stakeholders up to C-level Possess various personal traits such as: - high energy, personable, flexible, self-motivated, trustworthy, friendly, dependable, excellent follow through skills HPE is committed to....
