Human Resources Advisor



Role Purpose: This role is a critical role for the HR team and the business, which has three main responsibilities along with other ad hoc duties: Be the lead contact for the Leadership team within your allocated client group, where you will ensure the timely delivery of a range of HR services and expertise on a national basis, manage and coordinate the on-boarding and off-boarding procedure of employees, as well as the ongoing maintenance of employee data. Maintain and submit the monthly HR report, reporting on data for 700 employees along with preparing and entering information for the Board and ERC reports. Responsibilities: Major duties/responsibilities are detailed in the individual’s annual goals.

These goals include the following items: Business partnering Partner with your allocated client groups to provide proactive and timely HR support Develop strong relationships with business leaders in order to coach and guide them through employee relations issues, including the management of performance and behaviour Provide clear and accurate advice in a timely manner, giving consideration to Chubb policies and Australian legislation Be a key contact for people related projects, eg. Development planning, talent management, employee engagement initiatives, learning & development In conjunction with the global process, manage the compensation review process for your allocated client groups Reporting Manage and prepare the monthly HR Cube and ensure it is uploaded into the system by the 26th of every month to meet our Regional Offices‘ deadline Manage and prepare the information for the quarterly Board Report and ERC Report Manage and prepare the organisational charts on a monthly basis Validate and ensure data integrity in all HR related systems and reporting On-Boarding Work with the Resourcing Business Partner and, where required, recruitment agencies to ensure roles within your client group are filled in a timely and cost effective manner Provide guidance and advice to managers within your client group before, during and after interviews with potential candidates Prepare and coordinate the sending of offer letters and contracts Coordinate and manage the IT requests for the hardware and system access requirements Manage and maintain the internal HR records to confirm progress of New Starter set up Manage and coordinate the Probationary Review process Off-Boarding Liaise with the payroll team to ensure tmely notification of a resignation Coordinate and manage requests to revoke departing employees access Manage and maintain the internal HR records to confirm progress of the departure procedure Liaise with Manager to ensure they action the departure procedure and organise the recruitment of the vacancy HR Administration Create letters for promotions, secondments, contract extensions etc for employees Liaise with payroll team to ensure timely and quality documentation is provided to all employees Act as a point of contact for all HR adm.
